The links above will illustrate  my experience teaching visual arts grades k-12 for  the past 22 years, as well as my experience teaching adults with severe disabilities. Student awards most recently include a first grade artist from Norfeldt who has her, "Tiger Portrait" included in the Ct Writing Project.  During my years at the secondary level I had several students win Gold and Silver Scholastic Arts Keys. A true highlight was when my student  was recognized at the  National level for Scholastic Arts and had her sculpture displayed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in 2006.

Finally, you will see under my professional portfolio an outreach section.  I continue to use photography as a platform for community outreach and activism, which began with honoring the memory of a friend lost in 9/11 and has evolved into an arena to serve the special needs community with volunteerism and activism.

 

I hold a Ct Professional Educator certification in Visual Arts.

I also have  New York State professional certification in Visual Art.
